Built by athletes, run by people who actually get it
Honestly, it started with a bunch of us getting tired of driving 45 minutes just to find decent court time. North York needed something better, so we built it ourselves.
Started with just two basketball courts and a dream. Our founder Marcus had been coaching youth teams out of rented gyms for years, dealing with weird schedules and equipment that'd seen better days.
Added futsal arena after local soccer clubs kept asking if they could rent space. Turned out there was huge demand for year-round indoor soccer training - who knew winter in Toronto got cold?
Racquet sports wing opened up. Badminton's huge in our community, and we weren't serving those athletes at all. Now we've got eight dedicated courts with proper flooring - makes a real difference.
Hosted our first provincial championship. Upgraded all the tech - scoreboards, sound systems, proper spectator seating. Corporate events started becoming a thing too, which honestly surprised us.
Running at full capacity most days. We've got youth programs, adult leagues, corporate bookings, and tournament weekends. Still feels surreal seeing kids train here who'll probably go way further than we ever did.
We're not your typical facility managers - most of us played competitive sports or still coach. That's kinda the whole point.
Founder & Director
Ex-college point guard who got tired of the runaround just trying to book gym time. Been coaching youth basketball for 15 years. Still plays pickup games on Thursdays - you'll see him around.
Soccer Programs Lead
Played semi-pro soccer before a knee injury changed plans. Now runs all our futsal and soccer training programs. Her U-16 team made provincials last year, which she won't stop talking about.
Operations Manager
Keeps everything running smoothly, which is harder than it looks. Former volleyball national team alternate. He's the guy who remembers everyone's booking preferences and somehow fits impossible schedules together.
Racquet Sports Director
Three-time provincial badminton champ who knows more about racquet tension and footwork than anyone should. Runs our entire badminton program and occasionally destroys people in friendly matches.
Youth Development Coach
Works with kids ages 6-14 across all sports. Got his kinesiology degree but says he learns more from the kids than textbooks. Really good at making training fun without it turning into chaos.
Events Coordinator
Handles all tournament logistics and corporate bookings. Former event planner who got bored of hotel conferences and wanted to work somewhere with actual energy. She makes big events look way easier than they are.
Look, we're not gonna claim we're perfect, but here's what we actually care about:
Drop by for a tour, watch some games, or just grab a coffee in our lounge. We're around most days.
